            Large Donations or Furniture Donations/Pick-Ups

Inwood House reserves pick-ups for large donations or furniture items, if we can identify a current need among our clients for your items, on available Fridays.  We arrange this on a first-come, first-served basis and a specific list of items will be required. We appreciate your understanding that our vehicle is a multi-purpose one, used for agency activities, services (such as        transporting our young women to doctor’s appointments), and emergencies.  Therefore, pick-up scheduling is subject to change.  Based upon storage capacity and current client needs, we may be unable to take your donation, but will do our best to refer you to another available agency.

When picking up any applicable large furniture donation, all necessary parts (screws, nails, fixtures,        etc.) must be present.  If not, or if any items are present which were not on the pick-up list and cannot be used by our clients, Inwood House staff reserves the right to refuse any such donation.  Also, please            remember that no pick-ups are available outside a 15-mile radius of Inwood House.
