A leader and innovator in teen pregnancy prevention, Inwood House is dedicated to helping young people become self reliant, healthy adults. We help teens take charge of their lives by:
- Facilitating the development of the knowledge, skills, and self-esteem needed to set life goals, make responsible decisions, and avoid teenage pregnancy; and
- Providing a continuum of care for pregnant and parenting teens in foster care that builds on their strengths and moves them toward self-sufficiency.
- Being a source of hope, guidance and opportunity.

Values Statement

Inwood House helps adolescents from underserved communities recognize, develop and use their talents within the context of their families, their neighborhoods and the greater society. We are committed to developing young peoples leadership, decision-making and analytical skills, so that they can positively direct their lives and contribute to the lives of others.

We are guided by consistent philosophies, rules, policies, and procedures designed to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment in which teenagers can thrive. All Inwood House programs are designed to help teens clarify their values, achieve a sense of self-worth and make responsible choices.

We foster these goals through our:

- Mother/baby foster care
- Teen family support services
